About Us

Inspired by the late Mr. Tong Ling Long’s lifelong career in the education field as a teacher and headmaster, the idea of setting up an Education Foundation in his name was incepted after his passing in 2014. In 2022, the Tong Ling Long Education Foundation was formally registered by family members with the intention to provide opportunities for children from less-privileged background to complete their secondary, and to an extent, tertiary education.

Objective:

1. To provide financial assistance in the form of zero-interest loans and scholarship to students from low-income and less-fortunate background regardless of race, religion, or gender.
2. To give encouragement and contributions to ensure students from low-income families regardless of race, religion or gender are provided with the opportunity to complete their education.
3. To recognize contributions of the late Mr Tong Ling Long in the education sector.
